    Asharqia Chamber has concluded on Thursday October 20 -2016 the events of the forum of the small and medium institutions, which was organized under the patronage of Prince of Eastern Province, His Royal Highness Prince Saud bin Nayef, the presence of the governor of Small and Medium, Dr. Ghassan Al Sulaiman, and 18 of important speakers and 13 working papers  that discussed over two days the most important challenges and of the most prominent aspirations  of the emerging sector in the Chamber headquarters in Dammam.
        The first workshop:
        The manager of nine-tenths program Amjad Edrees said in the first workshop that 2 percent is the proportion of small and medium  
    institutions for commercial loans in the Gulf, compared to other  non Gulf countries like Morocco which is up to 37 percent.
          Edrees  said that of the major challenges facing the sector is the small and medium
    institutions getting the opportunities of purchase orders from government agencies and  big companies, also the trained manpower, which correspond to with the speialties and orientations sector companies.
          Edrees pointed  that  Saudi workers in small and medium  institutions, the proportion was 34 percent while the percentage of radiation in the sector as a whole is 13 percent.
        Edrees explained  that nine-tenths of program strategy for improving the sector launched a plan based on the important and necessary information for the sector, Astguetha of several measures are: a field survey for service providers, which has been through a detailed analysis of nearly 50
    institutions provides services for the small and medium institutionsin the Kingdom, in addition to the interviews with business owners as they were meeting with more than 200 institutions to determine the most important challenges facing them, as more than 10 international experiences has been viewed contributed to the progress of the sector in those countries, as well as access to studies and recommendations of consulting firms to small and medium institutions.
        As of that program, which is implemented by the Human Resources Development Fund (Hadaf), via the electronic gate presenting services designed to support this sector, the young man where he was to implement several services are: Standard gate, access to competitions, access to the market, financial solutions, speeding business start, services. Saying that the three new services will join the rest of the services, namely: access to information, and electronic shops, and the work of the future.

        The program aims to  improve  small and medium  
    institutions and make them productive institutions for jobs through a set of basic services that aim to grow and improve in the sector and make it more attractive environment to Saudis by contributing to discuss the challenges of government proceedures» facing small and medium institutions, and create job opportunities for Saudis by supporting small and medium institutions growth, and encouraging entrepreneurship environment in Saudi Arabia for the construction of promising small and medium institutions.
        adopting a speeding emerging business service entrepreneurs and embrace them through the early stages of the start of the project in cooperation with the King Abdullah University of Science and Technology (KAUST), enabling them to own a product or ready to be presented to investors and offer it in the market.
        Financial Solutions service also aim to support the environment system of new and existing
    institutions in the Kingdom, by attracting businessmen and researchers in the financial funding and putting them with the owners of capitals, and the nine-tenths of the program offers solutions to businessmen and women in small and medium institutions, so the importance of the role of small and medium institutions in the enhancement of young men and women getting their chance in busines s and investment.
        The second workshop:
        In the second workshop, which was held entitled (services of the Department of Trade and Investment in support of small and medium
    institutions), presented by the Strategic Management Director, Agency for the ministry of local trade Abdulsalam Al Manae, who said that the ministry services designed to enable small and medium institutions, through the progress of laws and organizing the procedures and the development of support such as improving the mechanisms of the organizational structure of these institutions, and the improvement of the e-gate, and the launch of a special interactive activity in the private sector to enhance confidence and investment, and the launch of several initiatives such as the initiative lists of Maarof and others.
        He said that the ministry is seeking to enhance government transparency and effectiveness of the procedures and investment in logistics and infrastructure, as well as working for the regulatory environment for the development and promotion of investment opportunities to the private sector. And it is working hard to support the project Vision 2030  Kingdom, which include increasing the contribution of small and medium  
    institutions in the local production  from 20% to 35% and increase foreign investment from 3.8 to 5.9 percent of  local production.
        He said that the ministry within the scope of its service for small and medium
    institutions adopt the principle of feedback, ie taking notes business owners, this is the best option to modify the path, and improving it.
        It also reviewed a number of services provided by the ministry of small and medium
    institutions that are (name, activity, record, advisory professions, brand and agency), including ISIC guide is a joint guide between the ministry with several local destinations such as health, justice, labor, where classified work united with these parties, also, this classification is consistent with the United Nations classification, this course serves the working names and preserves the rights, and gives decision makers a picture of the general situation of the institutions, being encoding helps to identify activities with precision, as can any organization that knows his institution site within the category, stressing continue The ministry with all responsible figures, as it is linked to trade automatically with the Justice Department and chambers of commerce, and in the near future will be linked with the secretariats and municipalities, as the ministry is seeking to provide all the requirements to achieve the electronic link with these parties.
        He pointed to the possibility of creating a single person company, as the owner is one , but the features  are of  the company, to reduce  fakecompanies, and to encourage investment, and facilitate the process of tenders. He explained that the one person company needs requirements represented in the financial statements.
        Pointing to some of the programs, including "
    Qawaem " program, which makes the ministry is the only party that approve the financial statements in any company, as the lists of the accounting office  go to the ministry website directly, and this limits the phenomenon of financial statements differ with any company.
        Also talked About  " Maroof " initiative, where businesses  activates often start small at  home, then grow and grow, and the owner  make a commercial record, and become a company, so we decided to open the way for projects that are from home and without conditions that put their products on the ministry  website, where the available space for customers to give the evaluation through the site. Mentioning that registration in a known link does not require a commercial record and other requirements, but aim to support initiatives that are held from homes, and the owner can get the initiative on the commercial register in the future.
        The third workshop:
        In the third workshop titled (marketing social media for small and medium
    institutions) presented by the consultant and trainer in digital media Ammar Mohammed, discussing the reality of social media in the Kingdom , said that the number of Internet users in the Kingdom amounted to about 20.29 million people of the population of Saudi Arabia who number 31.85 million people, and users of social media reached 11 million, and mobile users 57.58 million, and the users of social media via mobile phone .. almost 10 million this year, according to statistics in 2016.
         Reviewing  the social networking sites and the most used in the Kingdom  of 27%, while this percentage drops to 25% for Facebook, and 20% for Twitter and 17% of the Instagram, and 15% of Google.
        He said that the time that the user spends a day in Facebook is up to 22 minutes and 8 seconds, and the snapchat 18 minutes and 7 seconds, and on Twitter 17 minutes and 56 seconds, and the Instagram 15 minutes and 15 seconds.
        He said that the "snapchat" which is an application video messages allows users to send photos and clips and graphics to certain people, this application is the fastest growing applications in terms of the program the number of users by comparing it with all the other social networking applications, it is used by about 100 million people around the world, this application tracks the number of users per hour, it therefore allows companies to access the required easily slide, can also be promoted through the companies that publish stories, so you could say that users of Snapchat today are the customers of tomorrow, especially since most users come from rich families, and aged between 13 and 25 years.
        In the field of  ​​trade or the use of sites for the purpose of buying and selling he expalined that 41% of Internet users  tried the sale and purchase of a product or service in the Internet within 30 days ago, and 52% of them  search for a product or service to purchase during the same period, and 42% of user visited selling sites during the period mentioned, It is interesting that 36% of those who entered the sites for buying and selling were sellers of computer devices, and 23% of them make a purchase through a mobile phone.
        He said that the most important criteria of social network sites is the target audience, and the mechanism of competition existing in the user account, and opportunities, and different demographic  features in the use of social channels. So he urged the commercials in these means to the clarity of goals, so that they are fast in time, and achievable, especially in the matter of costs and advertising, designers, photographers etc.
        He concluded by saying that  the success with social media  should be based on rules, most importantly transparency, originality, the centrality of the customer, and vitality.
        Fourth workshop:

        Jenks explained that there is a big question to be placed at the forefront of the owners of capitals or those who want to create a small or medium  projects, most prominently, how can businesses improve and overcome more challenges that may be encountered ?, briefing  his answer to the first part in knowledge and regular market environment at home, with regard to the second part, he pointed to the five traditional challenges, the (education, community culture, capital, legal policy, guidance), pointing that the confrontation will be to improve and intensify training programs and providing guidance with more advanced programs with the new stage in the Kingdom .
        Jenks, stressed the need for performance evaluation and periodic reviewing processes, being one of the factors to the continuous improvement of the business performance of small and medium
    institutions, stressing the importance of the safety legal structure of the emerging company and the importance of developing relations with the society around them, as well as raise awareness about social and cultural issues that may have an impact on the business.
        Jenks pointed to  a number of expected growth sectors in the Saudi market in the coming period, which may be a good opportunity for those who want to set up small and medium  
    institutions, medical and tourism, insurance, e-commerce, and   institutional education that will fill in the gaps between academia and business, and also projects related to agriculture, telecommunications and information technology.
